O’Malley Defends Sanctuary Cities – In Spanish

Democrat long shot presidential candidate and former Maryland governor, Martin Omally has come out defending the controversial status of a “sanctuary city”. He did so in a statement on Friday, in Spanish.

H/T: Daily Caller

“It’s lamentable that the senseless and tragic act of violence that occurred in San Francisco is prompting a rush to judgment and finger pointing: we can and should do better,”

In a democrat field that seems to be locked by Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, O’Malley is at the moment a long shot, yet very attractive option to the Clinton machine. Yet, he has not been able to get the traction he needs in Iowa or New Hampshire, polling at 2.7% and 2.3% respectively.

Martin O’Malley does not currently speak Spanish, though he has been praised for his outreach efforts to the community.
