Georgia is on Actress Alyssa Milano’s mind, as the liberal activist is urging her Hollywood community to “stop feeding the GA economy,” or in other words, ban travel, production, and even keep from buy pecans from the Peach State because it’s state Senate just passed a “Heartbeat bill.”
“There are over 20 productions shooting in GA & the state just voted to strip women of their bodily autonomy. Hollywood! We should stop feeding GA economy.”-Alyssa Milano
Abortion rights activists like Milano detest bills that ban abortions once a physician detects at fetal heartbeat.
The bill allows incest and rape victims to have an abortion up to the 20 week mark but would require the patient to file an official police report.
Now that the Georgia senate has passed the bill, it will head back to the House of Representatives where it is expected to pass, and then on to Governor Brian Kemp’s desk, where the Republican is expected to sign the bill into law.
