The situation on the ground in Venezuela appears to be worsening as the Nicolas Maduro government continues to struggle to qualm protests, even as his rogue “police” and “colectivo” street gangs ramp up their brutal intimidation and suppression tactics.
Venezuelans sent a very loud and definitive message to Maduro when they voted interim-President Juan Guaido into office.
Maduro refuses to concede defeat, let alone any power that he still possesses, even as most the international community recognizes Guaido as Venezuela’s legitimate president.
But even though it appears as if Maduro’s days are numbered, his regime has adopted a new Goebbels-like propaganda campaign a play to his fledgling base of support, hoping to convince them that that happier days are ahead of them.
Over the past few months, Venezuela has suffered some nationwide power outages, outages Maduro claims were caused by the US government, specifically Senator Marco Rubio and “snipers,” who he specifically blames for that taking electrical system offline.
Maduro says his plan of recovery of the National Electrical System from the recent attacks and to prevent any future electromagnetic attacks, is already underway
But much like the Nazi-like films of years past, Maduro posted a video showing a large rally in support of the government, but in looking closely at the highly-edited video, it was difficult for the videographers to crop out the true depth of the crowd.

Maduro claims the “tremendous” march in support of his government is a show a commitment by the Venezuelan people who reject the “American empire” and the Trump Administration.
But this image of a pro-Guaido, anti-Maduro rally, which shared by Florida Senator Marco Rubio, dwarfs the crowd Maduro’ video shows.
Meanwhile, Maduro may be preparing for a last stand, as a new daily flight from Tehran, Iran has resumed, and Russian troops and supplies have been streaming into Venezuela.
