It’s early, but from the looks of it, former Vice President Joe Biden is crushing the large field of Democratic presidential candidates, and will most-likely be his party’s nominee to face-off with President Donald Trump next year.
Biden is up by an average of 20.4 in all the recent public opinion polls, but don’t tell that to “Beto” O’Rourke, who is touting a CNN/SSRS poll of 469 voters, where it shows that he the favorite to defeat Trump by at least 10 percentage points.
That same poll still has Biden beating O’Rourke and the others by double-digits, but that’s OK, fundraising is what matters here, and “Beto” is raising cash off the fact that voters think he has a better chance of defeating Trump.
Biden has always been considered the frontrunner and was neck-and-neck with Sen. Bernie Sanders at the top of the primary leaderboard, but that quickly changed on April 25 when he officially jumped into the race.

President Trump has taken shots at the field of candidates here and there, but when Biden got in the race, Trump took noticed and ramped up the attacks.
Trump says that he believes he can “easily” defeat Biden in a general election.
