In the first of two 2020 Democratic presidential campaign, all (10) of the candidates on the stage in Miami, Florida support legalized abortion.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who is currently surging in the latest public opinion polls and is in second place behind former Vice President Joe Biden, asserted that woman have the right to choose and that Roe vs. Wade needed to be made law.
“We need to make that federal law,” said Sen. Warren
Former HUD Secretary Julian Castro went further on abortion, saying that believed in “reproductive justice,” and supported transgender individual being able to choose to have an abortion.
“I don’t believe in only reproductive freedom, i believe in reproductive justice. All women -- and that includes the trans community -- have the right to an abortion.” – Sec. Julian Castro
It is fair to assume that Castro is referring to those transgender people who are not post-operative, or have had sex reassignment surgery.
President Trump did manage to formulate a couple tweets in respect to the debate, pointed to the audio/microphone technical difficulty NBC and MSNBC had in the middle of the debate.
The first one was simple, "Boring!"
".@NBCNews and @MSNBC should be ashamed of themselves for having such a horrible technical breakdown in the middle of the debate. Truly unprofessional and only worthy of a FAKE NEWS Organization, which they are!"- President Donald Trump
