Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D) is one of four congresswomen that has been at the center of controversy this week with President Trump.
After the President took to social media and shared the controversial “go back” comments, furor spread through the United States as supporters slammed the President and detractors slammed the congresswomen for supporting “anti-American” measures.
It culminated in members of Congress passing a resolution that condemned the comments from the President, but President Trump has since doubled down on his attacks.
Though the congresswomen have held a strong opposition against the President and his comments, the controversial Michigan Rep. is now finding herself in some controversy of her own.
In a tweet that has resurfaced, Rep. Tlaib was responding to an article from the Guardian regarding the controversial “Muslim Ban” that President Trump had proposed early in his term.
In response, Rep. Tlaib responded by saying “Deport this a***ole!”

Not one to shy away from colorful language, Rep. Tlaib drew ire from critics and support from followers after, at the beginning of the year, she dropped the f-bomb while speaking at a MoveOn event in Washington, DC.
Hours after being sworn in, Rep. Tlaib shared, “when your son looks at you and said ‘Mamma, look, you won – bullies don’t win.’ And I said, ‘Baby they don’t, because we’re gonna go in there and we’re gonna imeach the motherfu****!’”
In the recently unearthed “Deport” comment, critics are now calling the Michigan Rep. hypocritical for expressing the same frustration that President Trump was expressing against Democratic lawmakers that, in his opinion, are not supporting policies that will strengthen the United States.
Since being condemned by Congress, President Trump has stressed that both Tlaib and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D) have been embroiled in controversy surrounding perceived anti-Semitic comments in the past.
Rep. Tlaib has not responded to calls of hypocrisy.
