Several hours after Israel blocked entry to Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, the first two Muslim women to be elected to the U.S. Congress, Rep. Omar made the Israeli case why she should not be allowed to enter their country, as the posted a statement attacking Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“Trump’s Muslim ban is what Israel is implementing,” Omar wrote.

Israeli officials say that the whole purpose of Omar’s trip was to promote the anti-Israel BDS movement on Israeli soil.

U.S. Senator Martha McSally (R-AZ) appeared on Fox News, stating that the "actions and words" of both Omar and Tlaib are "dangerous."

"The plan of the two Congresswomen is only to damage Israel and to foment against Israel," Netanyahu said in a statement following the decision.

But while Omar blames Netanyahu for the ban, Israeli law clearly states that the country has the right to deny entry of any foreigner or visitor who makes “public call for boycotting Israel” or any area under its control.”

Rep. Omar continued here screed against Netanayahu, saying that he “resisted peace efforts, restricted the freedom of movement of Palestinians, limited public knowledge of the brutal realities of the occupation and aligned himself with Islamaphobes like Donald Trump.”

Omar seems to hint that because she sits on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, she is tasked to “Conduct oversight of foreign aid from the United States of America and to legislate on human rights practices around the world.”

It appears as if Omar is saying that she was going their single-handedly to oversee the distribution and “oversight” of the U.S. aid to Israel.

And she questions why Israeli denied her entry?
