A Tampa, FL girl went missing last Tuesday. She was found last Thursday in Michigan, and it was discovered that she was kidnapped and raped by 23-year-old Aurelio Hernandez-Gomez, an illegal immigrant to The United States.
According to WZZM, a local Hartford MI ABC affiliate:
During the investigation it was discovered that he had sexually assaulted the 13-year-old. Deputies also reported that Hernandez-Gomez told them he entered the United States illegally and had come from Chiapas, Mexico. Immigration and Customs Enforcement was contacted. The suspect was jailed Thursday and arraigned Friday in a Van Buren County courtroom on one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct. Bond was set at $150,000. He is expected back in court on July 15.
The arrest comes at a time when Donal Trump is whipping the GOP faithful into a political frenzy over the issue of illegal immigrant crime.
