Transgender Immigration Detainees May Get New Special Treatment


Bruce Jenner, or Caitlynn Jenner, whichever name you prefer to use, has helped the transgender community in the biggest way. Jenner doesn’t deserve all the credit, but his or hers, transformation has made waves in Washington,D.C., as well throughout society.

Now transgender detainees being jailed on immigration offenses may soon getting preferential treatment.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) may start housing transgender detainees solely based on what gender they identify with.
