Colombian Beauty Queen Busted On Drug Possession Charges


A Colombian beauty pageant winner will not be competing in any upcoming contests after being busted in China for possession of drugs.

22-year-old Juliana Lopez was arrested on July 18 by Chinese authorities after supposedly smuggling psychoactive drugs in her laptop computer, and could face the death penalty.

According to a the girl’s uncle, the beauty queen was in China buying things that she could turn around and sell once she returned to Colombia.

Lopez joins another other 100 or so  Colombians currently being detained in China on drug charges.
