Just as some Republican presidential candidates, namely Donald Trump, call for an end to birthright citizenship, the birth rate among illegal immigrants has dropped considerably over the past 8 years.

In 2013, 295,000 children were born to illegal immigrants living in the U.S. That number falls short of the 370,000 children born to illegal immigrants in 2007.

Depending on who you ask, some will tell you that the tough rhetoric being espoused by some against illegal immigration, could be the cause for such a decline in the "Anchor baby" birthrate.
