Does Congressman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez read Hispolitica?
Saturday morning, the Congresswoman took to Twitter and tweeted the following-
We here at HISPOLITICA certainly agree that independent outlets such as ours are vital to the maintenance of a healthy democracy.
We might add that many mainstream media outlets are failing the public in this regard- far too often, there is little accountability in the news media for the damage that's done by their misleading and erroneous reporting. Journalistic standards are nearly non-existent in big newsrooms these days, and journalists themselves are oftentimes not held to the same standards that they demand of others.
So kudos in this case to the Congresswoman, she's right to be concerned about Big Media and the state of journalism in general.
