Another day, and yet another series of remarks from Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez statement that seemingly defies comprehension.
Ocasio-Cortez' is quite concerned about a global environmental environmental catastrophe that would bring about the end of the world. Such environmental alarmism makes one wonder if she would unhesitatingly endorse an America "One Child" policy- similar to the one China once had- that would be a plank with her recently proposed Green New Deal.
"Our planet is going to be a disaster if we don't turn this ship around. There is scientific consensus that the lives of children are going to be very difficult....Is it ok To still have children? Even if you don't have kids...there are still children here in the world, and we have (a moral obligation) to leave a better world for them.
Is AOC right about this global climate change "threat" to life on earth? Should she be advising others on how they need to live and whether people should have children?
“There’s scientific consensus that the lives of children are going to be very difficult. And it does lead young people to have a legitimate question: is it okay to still have children?”
