With just about 19 months before Americans head to the polls to elected a new president, or re-elect President Trump, the race to win the Democratic presidential nomination is well under way, and should be one of the most contentious primary election races in American history.
The Democratic field of candidates keeps growing on a weekly basis, much to Trump's delight as the sitting president continues to take his shots at just about every single candidate the Democratic Party throws out agains the Commander-In-Chief.
Grassroots activists are all about 'Beto' O'Rourke, Kamala Harris and Julian Castro, but it's former Vice President Joe Biden who is crushing the current field of presidential hopefuls.
By saying that Biden is "crushing" the field is not an overstatement. According to the latest Real Clear Politics average of polls, Biden enjoys a lead of 10.3% over the rest of the field. Biden's closet contender is Sen. Bernie Sander followed by Sen. Kamala Harris.
No one else even comes close to "Uncle Joe" Biden.
Biden has no yet declared this candidacy, but is well aware of his popularity, and opportunity to win his primary in order to take on Trump.
