MUELLER – No sooner that Robert Mueller concluded his press conference where he announced his resignation as special counsel, just about all of the Democratic presidential contenders called for impeachment proceedings against President Trump.

Florida’s other Ted, Rep. Ted Deutch, who voted against the Born Alive bills, is out pushing the narrative that Mueller believes Trump lied about everything he said about “no collusion” and “no obstruction.”

Not sure where Deutch gets that Mueller believes obstruction occured. Wouldn’t have Mueller just come out and stated that?

Like a good Democratic loyalist, Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell is pushing her political party’s talking points, saying that the Trump administration is attacking the American democracy, and pushing for continued congressional investigation into the president.

GOTCHA! –GBI arrests Bacon Co. sheriff

ALMA, Ga. (WALB) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) arrested Bacon County Sheriff Mark Cothren, 50, on Wednesday.

According to the GBI, the Waycross Judicial Circuit District Attorney requested the GBI on Wednesday, May 22, to investigate allegations that Cothren assaulted John Daniel Melton, 75, in front of the sheriff’s office.

One week later, Cothren turned himself into the Bacon County Jail, the GBI reported.

Cothren has been charged with one count of elder abuse, one count of violation of oath of office and one count of battery, according to a GBI press release. READ MORE

The Texas Republican is standing up for expanded access to personal savings options for family education choice.

In 2017, college savings plans, or “529s,” were modified to allow parents to use money in those accounts for K-12 expenses.
