Governor Brian P. Kemp was one busy bee, conducted swearing-in “ceremonies for eleven (11) appointments to boards, commissions, and related state entities.”

Rep. Doug Collins (R) is saying that illegal immigrants coming into the US have admitted of using children as tools to get released from custody once they have crossed over,

“Migrants are admitting that they have either “borrowed,” “rented,” or “bought” a child because they know, if they arrive at the border with a child, they are all but guaranteed to be released into the U.S. H.R. 6 does zero to end this abuse.”

After Senate Democrats finally agreed to pass disaster relief legislation, Sen. David Perdue (R) said that moving forward, “politics” should be left out of future disaster relief efforts.

“Governor Greg Abbott today issued an activation order for increased readiness ahead of potential flash flooding and severe weather on the Texas coastline. Resources deployed in the activation order include five swift water rescue boat squads and one Texas Task Force One high profile vehicle. These resources will be deployed to the Rio Grande Valley and the Galveston area to support government partners, while remaining boat squads will be held in College Station for deployment as needed.”

Rep. Veronica Escobar (D) says she is proud to stand with her fellow House Democrats in voting in favor of DREAMer. The House passed TPS and DREAMer legislation.

Sen. John Cornyn (R) met with sugar growers from the Rio Grande Valley to discuss trade with Mexico and the Farm Bill.

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R) joined fellow Republicans in voting against the Democratic DREAMer bill, saying that the issue should be addressed once the border crisis is dealt with.

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Chairman Joaquin Castro (D) stood with his Democratic colleagues to praise the passing of the Dream and Promise Act. Castro has been pushing for this for quite some time.

 

Addressing the opioid problem that is touching Americans from Florida to Arizona. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D) points to China’s Fentanyl production as being part of the drug problem Arizonans are facing.

“No Arizonan should be forced to fight addiction alone. As we work to protect and improve health care for all Arizonans, we must also combat drug trafficking, particularly the trafficking of fentanyl.” –Sen. Kyrsten Sinema.

Rep. Raul Grijalva (D) is echoing his past remarks that Republicans are to blame for not passing DREAMer or immigration reform legislation.

There are any number of questions that we have every right, and the American people have every need, to have answered about his investigation and what he found.

Is the race over? If you go by these poll numbers, Biden is the clear choice to be the Democratic Party’s nominee. But remember, Biden is slipping. As we mentioned, the latest CNN poll has his lead shrinking.
