Florida Senator Marco Rubio (R) tweeted that Trump’s “threat of tariffs got Mexico to agree to take unprecedented steps to control illegal migration.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D) went as far as to call the Trump newly-announced deal with Mexico “bogus “because he says that Mexico agreed to the deal “months ago.”
