Cruz says extreme Democratic “clown car” is broken

Appearing on Fox News’ “Hannity” show, Texas Senator Ted Cruz (R), after having to take water break to clear his throat, told host Sean Hannity that the first 2020 Democratic presidential debate was nothing more than a broken “clown car.”

“The debate last night — the clown car is broken,” he said.

“There is no brake and it only steers left. It was scary last night. It was scary to see the Democrats — every one of them — falling all over each other to get further and further and further left, added Cruz.
