President Donald Trump’s controversial tweet where he told several progressive House Democratic women to go back to the countries “from which they came from” has been condemned and labeled as racist by Democrats and the clear majority of the media.

According to a USA Today/Ipsos Poll shows most Republicans support the president’s tweet, even though all four of the women he referenced are American citizens, and not foreign nationals.

But while many Americans believe that Trump’s tweet was insensitive and offensive, a recent Yougov poll shows that 52 percent of Hispanics surveyed support it, with another 49 percent opposed the remark.
