Remember that old quote from the movie "The Breakfast Club," where the teacher warns one of the students "mess with the bull young man, you'll get the horns?"
It seems as if more and more people who travel to Pamplona, Spain tand partake in the yearly running (messing) of the bulls festivities wind up getting a good dose of the horns.
An Australian man was the latest person to be gored by one of the bulls he was agitating, landing him in the hospital with wounds to his groin and thigh.
Two Americans were also injured in the running, one suffering a puncture would under his arm, the other suffering facial injuries. The two Americans join another Brit, and Frenchman, as well as few others, who "messed with the bull," and got "the horns."
One man has already been killed.
I am still scratching my head at why people would risk bodily harm like this.
After seeing the picture above of a Matador getting gored through the mouth, why would anyone event think about tangling with a bull?
