President Trump dismissed former Ohio Gov. John Kasich ahead of his Democrat National Convention speech, slamming his former 2016 Republican nominee rival as a “major loser,” whom people “don’t like” or “don’t trust him.”
“He was a loser as a Republican and he’ll be a loser as a Democrat. Major loser as a Republican,” Trump told reporters flying back to Washington D.C. abroad Air Force One after a day spent campaigning in Minnesota and Wisconsin. “I guess you can quote me on that. John was a loser as a Republican. Never even came close. And as a Democrat, he’ll be an even greater loser.”
Trump added that people don’t like or trust Kasich.
