Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump is feeling the drums of discontent by the Mexican rock band Mana over the anti-Mexican comments he made during his presidential announcement event.
Trump said that “when Mexico sends its people,” the country not sending the best, they are sending people with “lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems. They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime. They’re rapists and some, I assume, are good people, but I speak to border guards and they’re telling us what we’re getting.”
Trump added, “I will build a great, great wall on our southern border…And I will have Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.” Never mind that we already have a significant fencing system along key parts of the border, and that Border Patrol agents laying more fencing will not stop desperate migrants and crafty smugglers.”

The rock group’s lead singer, Fher Olvera took issue with Trump, saying that “The Donald” made violent and hateful remarks against Mexicans and all Latino Americans, calling them rapists, delinquents, and drug dealers.
He added that he is saddened because he believes Mexicans have come to help build the U.S., and saddened that any one person with such hate in his heart exists.
While Trump did state that the country of Mexico was sending these types of Mexicans into the United States, Trump did not refer to all Latinos coming to the U.S. as rapists, drug dealers, or delinquents.
