Scott champions Colombia’s drug reduction efforts

In an op-ed for the Miami Herald, Florida Sen. Rick Scott (R) details that Colombian President Ivan Duque sees that his country wants to usher in a new era of conservatism.

As growing tension within the United States sees Democratic Socialism permeating through the Democratic party, the effects of socialism in countries like Venezuela is causing countries to outright reject the political ideology and the oppression that it brings.

In the op-ed, the former Governor of Florida recounts that he attended Duque’s inauguration, informing that he then met with Duque “to discuss the issue of narco-trafficking and our shared goal of freedom and democracy in Venezuela.”
