As calls pour in for Attorney General William Barr to resign, one of the louder voices has been Senator and 2020 Presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren (D).
As Democrats look to compromise on whether or not they should pursue an impeachment process against President Trump, the President briefly spoke to reporters this morning to discuss several things that are on his mind.
Hill, who sits on the House Oversight Committee, incredulously contradicted everything Democratic House leadership has been saying about the whole premise of the Mueller investigation, which found that there was no “collusion” between the Trump campaign and Russia, or any of its operatives.
“The investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”
He talks about full transparency, but during a recent appearance on MSNBC, Swalwell stated that the complete and unredacted report need to be released, but only if it didn’t “affect anything ongoing,” failing to include the other reasons Attorney General Barr gave for the redactions.
“Special Counsel Mueller’s report paints a disturbing picture of a president who has been weaving a web of deceit, lies and improper behavior and acting as if the law doesn’t apply to him. But if you hadn’t read the report and listened only to Mr. Barr, you wouldn’t have known any of that because Mr. Barr has been so misleading.
